This blog is my attempt at keeping myself on task with writing at least a little something each day.
It took me about four years of working in Social Services before finally realizing what I want to be when I grow up. I love the people I have met and advocated for, and the only way out of this field that I see for myself is through a career as a writer.
This notion may seem naive, but I would rather try and fail miserably, then never put the stories and characters that have crafted themselves in my imagination on paper.
Hey Sweetie:
If this helps you out in any way, do it! I know how frustrated you get when you have writers block. I love you.
Mike
I only hope I can be half as brave as you in taking the first steps. I think our styles may be similar. Thank you for inspiring me, Amy. Go get em, writer woman! Write down the moon! I will always be a fan.
Just found this, Amy. Keep at it. You are worth the effort to be who you are.
I’ve been doing a daily photo with some prose to go along with it for over 5 years now. I’m still trying to get the courage to put a book together of my best images and text. I’ll get there. One day/step at a time.
Love your bucket list. Whittling away at mine.
